Hi, I am Konstantin #
I’m a Master’s student of Computer Science at HPI and love to learn how the world works.
What I’m up to now #
Working for Scalable Minds developing Zarr, an open source library for storing large, chunked, compressed N-dimensional arrays.
Learning CAD and 3D modeling to break out of the digital world and build physical things.
Trying to catch my thoughts in writing and share them with the world.
Next steps #
Co-organizing events with Spark, a newly founded student-led club at HPI (Instagram):
TRMNL Hackathon (1 July 2026), an e-ink hackathon where teams build a plugin for the TRMNL device. The first one we’re running.
Makerthon (this September 2026), a hardware hackathon where teams turn an idea into a working physical prototype over a weekend. Still in planning; in talks with sponsors including NVIDIA, Mitsubishi, Bosch and AWS.
Finishing the advanced deep learning course.
What I believe in #
Writing is the best form of self therapy. The physical act of writing forces your non-linear thoughts into a structured pattern and helps you understand yourself better.
Do what you love. Ignore the noise. The things that pull you without a reason are pointing at something real.
Discomfort is where growth lives. Sadness, failure, uncertainty really do change who we are. Embrace your feelings and learn from them.
